This very well-educated (scholar of local university) and friendly king in W-Kalimantan is also chief of the council of W-Kalimantan king. Known as being a real patient king for his people. Nearly 5 1/2 century the dynasty alerady rules the area, known for it's very big diamonds.
In W-Kalimantan the feeling for their historically grown kings are the most strong of Indonesia.

They want to make again the old,traditional palace,which was f.i. being used in 1830.Later the local people built a more modern palace;nder the influence of the Dutch knowledge,which made palaces extremely hygienic,strong enough to still be there after earthquakes,etc.But in W-Kalimantan;where the revival of the royal dynasties is one of the strongest of Indonesia,there is a big need for the original culture of the area.
One of the advisors of the king is his uncle;brother of his father;who knows very much about the local culture and history.He is married with the daughter of a quite important former governor of Serawak in Malaysia:Datuk Patinggi Haji Tun Ahmad Zaidi bin Mohammad Noor:Ratu Siti Hassanah.
The king very much stimulates very much the royal culture.He is of for his people like a father.That means:trying to make them more stronger in the many talents the area people has.He is not really the king from the distance.
He is very good seing through the things,which are in life.
